Here are three great things to consider doing in the town of New Braunfels.
*First and foremost, one of the great things to consider doing in the town of New Braunfels is visiting the McKenna Children’s Museum. This facility offers children exhibits that are both hands-on and interactive and that also focus on factors such as technology, space, and culture, with the overall goal of achieving both imagination and learning. There are a wide range of exhibits here, meaning that there is something for everyone, which is evident by the activities being linked to aspects of everyday life.
*Another great thing to consider doing in the town of New Braunfels is visiting Canyon Lake. This location is considered to be one of the deepest lakes in the entire state of Texas and is also popular among boaters, fishermen, and those who simply enjoy spending time in the water on a hot day. There are also a total of five communities that are located around the lake, as well as a busy marina and two separate yacht clubs. Additionally, there are also eight public parks that are managed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, all of which offer amenities such as boat ramps, camping, and picnic areas.
*One other great thing to consider doing in the town of New Braunfels is visiting Animal World and Snake Farm Zoo. This location initially started as the more popular Snake Farm back in 1967, but in 2012, it became a fully accredited zoo that now contains more than 500 different types of animals, many of which have been rescued. There is also a petting zoo where children are able to feed animals that reside there; however, it is worth noting that feeding other wild animals in the zoo is not permitted.
